The AEC Conference on Southern Literature has become well-known for bringing hundreds of readers and writers together to celebrate literature in Chattanooga. However, many people are not as familiar with the education outreach programs going on in area schools during the event. These programs - Young Southern Student Writers, Classroom Residencies, and the Creative Writing Workshop for teachers - reach hundreds of students and educators each year.
