Andrew Hudgins is a poet and essayist whose works include Saints and Strangers, After the Lost War and The Never-Ending. His most recent book is Shut Up, You’re Fine: Poems for Very, Very Bad Children. His work has appeared in The American Poetry Review, The Atlantic Monthly, The Georgia Review, The Hudson Review, The New Yorker and The Washington Post. Hudgins has received fellowships from the Guggenheim and Ingram Merrill Foundations and the National Endowment for the Arts. Honors include the Frederick Bock Prize, the Ohioiana Poetry Award and the Witter Bynner Prize from the American Academy of Arts and Letters. He is Humanities Distinguished Professor in English at Ohio State University.
