Clyde Edgerton is the author of nine novels, a memoir, short stories, and essays. He has been a Guggenheim Fellow and five of his novels have been New York Times Notable Books. He lives in Wilmington, North Carolina, and teaches creative writing at the University of North Carolina, Wilmington. A new novel, The Night Train, is due in July 2011.
