Clyde Edgerton is author of Raney, Walking Across Egypt, The Floatplane Notebooks, Lunch at the Piccadilly and five other novels. Awards include five Notable Books of the Year from The New York Times and the North Carolina Award for Literature. Edgerton teaches creative writing at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. He most recently published a memoir, Solo: My Adventures in the Air and a novel, The Bible Salesman.
