Marco Ramirez – 2009 Bryan Foundation Award for Drama recipient – has had plays produced at The Kennedy Center, The Yellow Tree, City Theatre, Mad Cat and Actors Theatre of Louisville’s Humana Festival of New American Plays, where his piece “I am not Batman” received the Heideman Award. He is the two-time winner of the Latino Playwriting Award from The Kennedy Center’s American College Theatre Festival and a graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. He is currently studying playwriting at the Juilliard School.
