Ron Rash is the author of four novels, four collections of short stories, and three collections of poetry. His fiction and poetry have been published in a number of journals, magazines, and newspapers, including The Southern Review, Poetry and The London Times. His story collection Chemistry and novel Serena were PEN/Faulkner Finalists and Burning Bright, his most recent collection of stories, won the Frank O'Connor International Short Story Prize. He has been awarded NEA Fellowships in fiction and poetry. Rash teaches at Western Carolina University.
