Wyatt Prunty has published eight books of poetry, including The Lover’s Guide to Trapping, and two books of criticism, Fallen from the Symboled World and Sewanee Writers on Writing. He is the former editor of the Sewanee Writers’ Series. His poems and essays have appeared in The Atlantic, The New Yorker, The New Republic, American Scholar, Times Literary Supplement, The Yale Review, The Kenyon Review and The Southern Review. Prunty is Ogden D. Carlton Professor of English at the University of the South where he founded and directs the Sewanee Writers’ Conference and the Tennessee Williams Fellowship and residency program.
