Wyatt Prunty is the author of The Times Between, What Women Know, What Men Believe, Balance as Belief, The Run of the House, Since the Noon Mail Stopped, Unarmed and Dangerous and The Lover's Guide to Trapping. His critical works are "Fallen from the Symboled World": Precedents for the New Formalism and Rationed Compassion: Poetry since World War II, forthcoming. He has received Guggenheim, Rockefeller, Johns Hopkins and Brown Foundation fellowships, and directs the Tennessee Williams Fellowship program at the University of the South, where he founded and directs the Sewanee Writers' Conference.
